The DiagnoCure Oncology Laboratories’ team is highly committed to providing the best experience for clinicians and patients in times where accurate information matters.
The laboratory staff is highly experienced in molecular biology testing, with significant expertise in quantitative RT-PCR, nucleic acid extraction, electrophoresis and design of primers and probes.
The sales and customer service team is composed of individuals with a solid background in oncology, testing services and customer support.
Valerie Palmieri, President, DiagnoCure Oncology Laboratories
With over 25 years experience in the laboratory services industry, Valerie Palmieri is a top level accomplished senior executive. After completing her Bachelors of Science in Medical Technology at the Western Connecticut State University (1983), Ms. Palmieri joined DIANON Systems in 1987. At the time DIANON was a start-up company, and Ms. Palmieri was a founding member of the leadership team that grew DIANON into a successful national laboratory services company. During her tenure at DIANON she held several executive positions responsible for laboratory services, business strategic planning, cost management, quality, customer retention and operations management. In 2003, Laboratory Corporation of America acquired DIANON and Ms. Palmieri was promoted National Vice President of Operations; in this capacity, she completed the franchising of DIANON to two additional sites, and launched several new diagnostic services. Over the past year, Ms. Palmieri served as a consultant with Momentum Consulting, which specializes in healthcare solutions. Valerie joined DiagnoCure in 2010 and is currently President of DiagnoCure Oncology Laboratories.
